Mathematics for difficult measurements

I am a postdoctoral researcher in computational and applied mathematics at Jilin University. My research combines inverse problems, regularization theory, numerical analysis, and scientific machine learning.

My work is motivated by applications in medical imaging, subsurface imaging, and engineering simulation. I study both classical variational methods and learned computational approaches, from linear models to strongly nonlinear problems.

Background and experience

Three connected areas

  1. Inverse problems and regularization

Stable recovery from indirect and noisy data, including convergence analysis, parameter identification, and constrained optimization.

  2. Computational imaging

Electrical impedance tomography, medical image reconstruction, seismic inversion, and subsurface inference.

  3. Scientific machine learning

Physics-informed methods, learned solvers, and computational techniques for PDE-constrained problems.
